This beautiful 17 km spa is located in the Coquimbo region, in a family atmosphere disconnected from the noise of the city where you can enjoy its quiet beaches of fine sand with constant and even winds, warm waters and good weather for almost all year round. They make sailing the preferred sport, although you can also jump by parachute, do paragliding in tandem mode (2 people), dive between schools of fish and even practice sport fishing. Thanks to its fishermen's cove, the local gastronomy is based on the use of fresh fish and seafood, famous are its cheese empanadas with shrimp, crab and oyster. Every year during the summer season the Gastronomic Festival is organized where fishermen, bites and local restaurants make their exquisite preparations available to their visitors. From the pier you can take a boat ride, where the most fortunate have been able to observe dolphins, dolphins, sea lions, and even Humboldt penguins.
“Legend has it that many years ago the pirates who attacked Coquimbo and La Serena took refuge in Guanaqueros to rest after their looting. Here they enjoyed good food, thanks to the variety and abundance of seafood that its warm waters offered.
